i think i have some sites which should help in ur research
of course beside the search sites like yahoo.com, Google.com u can put in the search space " data" ," meaning of data" ," the term data" ," meaning of the term data " and that also should helps and to sum up there is a free encyclopedia on the web it's very nice it's URL http://www.wikipedia.org/ and i suppose that u'll face some problems with some English terms so i suggest http://www.google.com/translate_t?langpair=en|ar it's the Google translator after all this i think u won't face any problem and u'll do the research well
